Site Description
Vast lowland area including large mangrove swamps and coarse-grass marshes probably depend on rainfall and seasonal flooding. The water is shallow or muddy throughout the year, except for deeper water in some fish-ponds. Principal vegetation: Mangroves, coarse marsh grasses.
Site Location
Polewli-Mapili is located on coastal area SSE of Mapilli, South Sulawesi.
